Invited to redesign a garden for a third season at the 9th edition of
the International Garden
Festival in Grand-Métis, Quebec, the former core samples
of this space become playful whirligigs, where the space comes alive
with every passing breath of wind. Not unlike the giant windmills that
are sprouting in the landscape around the Gaspé peninsula, these
whirligigs referencing regional folk art traditions are elegant objects
that turn with the ever-changing weather.
